SEAPORT TERMINAL
Bremerhaven is the largest seaport terminal in our network. With over 1.5 million vehicles per year, it ranks among the largest automobile ports in the world. All the prestigious shipowners serve Bremerhaven regularly and more than 900 ships carrying vehicles call at the terminal every year.

AUTOMOBILE TECHNICAL CENTER (PDI/VPC)
Our Bremerhaven site has its own technical centers covering an area of 295,000 m². They are equipped with several car wash lines, paint booths, underbody protective coating systems and numerous lifting platforms for carrying out a range of technical services. Given its annual processing of more than 300,000 vehicles, the Bremerhaven technical center is Europe's largest automobile workshop.
Coldstore logistics
The infrastructure and the wide service portfolio of the Bremerhaven Container Terminals provide optimal conditions for Kloosterboer BLG Coldstore, the largest industrial cold store in the region. It has a unique function as an interface between land and sea and between European recipients and overseas consignors. The coldstore handles all import processes reliably and professionally.
Apart from imports from around the globe, the facility also handles export consignments. Activities include goods receipt, interim storage, stowing into sea containers, documentation and trucking.
Factors that ensure seamless and smooth processing of frozen products are the close connection to global trade flows, the proximity to important sales markets for temperature-controlled products, the high concentration of the (fish) processing industry, and also the special expertise of the increasing number of logistics, trade and (food) production companies located here.
The 27,000 freezing pallet places in Bremerhaven free port are used mainly as buffering storage for raw materials from overseas imports. However, other goods are also optimally handled in the IFS-logistics-certified handling and warehouse facility. They include raw ingredients for pet food and internal EU products. Veterinary and customs clearance as well as distribution management round off our portfolio.
