In a network with the Italian terminal operator CONTSHIP Italia, the company operates twelve container terminals from the North Sea to the Mediterranean. Our range is rounded off by intermodal services for all aspects of container transport. EUROGATE was founded in 1999. In 2021, the Group handled around 12.3 million TEU across Europe.

In 2019, the group handled some 11.7 million TEU throughout Europe. Apart from container handling, we offer supplementary services: seaworthy packing, container depot, container maintenance and repair. Our intermodal transport network links our seaport terminals in North and South Europe with important European economic regions.

One of the secrets of our success is our ability to forge lasting partnerships and alliances. We participate in two joint ventures in Bremerhaven. NTB North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven is a joint venture with APM Terminals, a member of the A. P. Moeller-Maersk Group and a sister company of the world's largest shipping company, Maersk Line. MSC Gate, located at the Southern end of the Bremerhaven container terminal, is a joint venture between EUROGATE and TIL Terminal Investment Limited, a partner in the MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company.
